Empowering communities to protect the planet — one joyful act at a time

We’re thrilled to introduce Waves of Change, a community-driven project that blends environmental care with joyful experiences for families at the beach. It’s a simple idea — but one with the power to inspire lasting change.
We plan to place small wooden boxes near beach entrances where families can leave clean, gently used beach toys they no longer need. Other children can then borrow and enjoy them, promoting a beautiful culture of sharing, reusing, and protecting our environment.
Rooted in the principles of Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, this project also teaches children about generosity and responsibility through real-life actions.
To bring this vision to life, we are seeking:
Donations of wood or other materials to build the boxes
Monetary contributions to support local labor — for building, designing, and painting the stations
💚 Your support will help us create cleaner beaches, happier families, and a more mindful community. As a thank-you, we’d be proud to include your name or your company’s name on the box you help sponsor — a public recognition of your commitment to the planet.
Together, we can make waves of change — one toy, one box, one child at a time.

🌊 WAVES OF CHANGE
🌱 Why It Matters
This project embraces the environmental values of Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle, while also teaching children and families about generosity, responsibility, and sustainability in a fun, hands-on way. It reminds us that protecting our planet can start with simple actions — and even with a child’s smile.
🛠️ How We're Making It Happen

We’ve already built and painted our first box thanks to the dedication of our volunteers and the generous support of community members. To keep the momentum going, we are:
Seeking donations of wood and eco-friendly materials
Welcoming monetary donations to cover construction, paint, and labor
Organizing volunteer brigades to maintain and promote the use of each station on weekends
📅 What’s Next?
During the summer months (June–September), our volunteer teams will monitor and care for the boxes every weekend. They’ll also talk to beachgoers, share our mission, and invite people to scan a QR code on the boxes that leads to this very blog — where you can follow our progress and get involved.
🌊 Join the Wave
Together, we can make a real difference, one toy, one family, and one beach day at a time. Waves of Change is more than a project. It’s a movement — and you’re invited to be a part of it.
Thank you for being part of this journey.Let’s create waves that reach far beyond the shoreline. 💙
