On August 6th, in an impressive community effort, our organization embarked on a transformative project to renovate the roof of one of the sheds that is part of the "Keeper of the Wild" sanctuary. With the passionate collaboration of our invaluable volunteers and the dedicated support of a local construction company, "Framer Broen Construction LLC," all united by cultural ties and a love for animals, we succeeded in completely changing the fate of the shelter in less than 6 hours.
Our team of dedicated volunteers, led by our colleague "Haydee Irrizarry," got involved from the very beginning, contributing their time and skills to ensure that every detail was in place. The construction company also enthusiastically joined in, offering their expertise and resources to ensure the success of the project.
Special thanks to: Ever Alexander Cruz from the company "Framer Broen Construction LLC."
Who, along with his team of workers, dismantled the old roof, clearing the way for a new beginning. Each nail removed marked a step forward in our shared mission to provide a safe and comfortable home for animals in need.
Ever demonstrated his expertise by precisely placing each part of the new roof, while the volunteers didn't lag behind, actively participating and adding their special touch. Each hammered nail was a symbol of the collaboration that had brought our community together to achieve this significant change.
In less than 6 hours, the transformation was complete. The new roof stood tall, a tangible symbol of the unity and determination of our community.
This project not only changed the roof of our shelter but also strengthened the bonds between us and solidified our commitment to the animals. Together, we demonstrated that when we come together with a common purpose, we can achieve significant changes in record time.
