Terms and Conditions of Security and Protection

 

To participate in any of our activities at Latin Women of South Carolina, whether as a volunteer or as a group member, you will be asked to comply with the terms of a volunteer agreement. The agreement below details what MLCS expects from you and what you can expect from us.

 

Information Collection: We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you interact with our website. This may include your name, email address, and any other information you choose to provide.

 

• I certify that I am at least 18 years old. In the event of special circumstances, I will sign on behalf of my minor child under 18 years old and agree to provide supervision at all times.

• Use of Photos: Please note that as part of our activities, we may take photographs or videos during events organized by our organization. We reserve the right to use these images for promotional purposes, including uploading them to our website and social media channels. By attending our events, you agree to have your image used in such photographs or videos unless you inform us otherwise. If you do not wish to have your image used, please inform us at the time of the event or contact us afterwards.

• If during any of the activities I undertake with MLCS, I authorize them to seek emergency medical treatment for me in case of accident, injury, or illness. I certify that I have current personal medical insurance, and if I am injured during volunteering, I will file claims with my personal insurer. I will report any injuries that occur to me immediately to the person(s) in charge of the activity.

• I understand that volunteers are not allowed to consume alcohol, smoke or engage in any misconduct behavior while participating in activities and representing MLCS in public or private events.

• I agree that I have read, understood, and will follow the guidelines, policies, and procedures for volunteers that have been provided to me. I will also follow all

• instructions given to me by the person(s) in charge of the activity I am supporting today.

 

By signing this, I agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless Latin Women of South Carolina, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any and all claims, damages, and liabilities arising out of or related to my activities (or the activities of minors under 18 years old for whom I am responsible).
